Job summary

CareRing Health, LLC is seeking a Home Health Aide to deliver quality care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist, in accordance with physician orders and agency policies. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, provide personal care, observe changes in condition, document incidents, and help with meals and room upkeep in a Virginia home health setting.

This role requires current CNA and Virginia Home Health Aide licenses, CPR certification, a high school

Qualifications

• CNA license in good standing is required.
• Virginia Home Health Aide license required.
• CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous elderly care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Engage residents in social activities and conversation.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and obtain assistance as necessary.
• Observe changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition and report to a licensed nurse.
• Complete incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking promptly.
• Prepare and serve meals and assist with eating.
• Make beds, empty garbage, and tidy rooms daily.
