Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing.
• Virginia Home Health Aide license.
• CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with elderly in residential or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engages residents in conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Observes changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition and reports to a licensed nurse.
• Completes incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking as requested.
• Prepares and serves meals and assists with eating (not tube feeding).
• Makes beds, empties garbage, and tidies rooms daily.
