Job summary

Lutheran Homes Of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting. The CNA will ensure residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services and maintaining a caring environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork, and basic computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per resident plan of care, including ADLs.
• Monitor residents' vital signs, report changes promptly, document care and responses.
• Interact warmly with residents and promote a caring environment, assist with meals and hydration.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Follow infection control guidelines and HIPAA privacy regulations; attend trainings.
• Transport residents as needed and assist with mobility.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
