Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Pasadena is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision to residents in our facility. You will perform rounds, verify resident identity, assist with daily living activities and ensure high-quality care in accordance with policies.

Strong English communication, empathy and teamwork are essential. This role requires a valid CNA license and a commitment to compassionate care for the ill and aging residents in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands promptly.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are filled and accessible.
• Perform related duties as directed by supervisors.
