Job summary

Aviata Post Acute in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision, ensuring high-quality resident care in a warm, safe environment.

You will perform duties per policy, take rounds every shift and every two hours, verify resident ID before care or meals, help with beds and hydration, and collaborate with Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, and Director of Nurses to support residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in CNA school or hold a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA training.
• Desire to serve ill, aged and infirm.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Good health and emotional stability.
• Able to work with ill, disabled and emotionally upset residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per established policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and reachable.
• Carry out other duties as directed by nurses or administrator.
