Job summary

(North Royalton Post Acute) Parma SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking a detailed and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with care plans. Responsibilities include identifying residents, recording care, reporting condition changes, and assisting with daily living activities and transfers.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general information.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record all entries using authorized abbreviations as established by the facility.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information, including protected health information.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care as instructed.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and transporting residents as needed.
• Observe residents for skin breakdown and report any concerns.
• Follow established policies and procedures and cooperate with staff to ensure quality nursing services.
