Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Gurnee, IL is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our team for the 2nd shift, providing compassionate and individualized care based on each resident’s care plan.

You will assist with Activities of Daily Living, promote independence, and maintain dignity while communicating with residents and families. Ongoing training and strict privacy standards are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification from an accredited CNA program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
