Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will support ADLs, comfort, safety, and dignity for residents while maintaining clinical accuracy and responsiveness to resident needs.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification in the facility's state.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with personal integrity and work well with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake/output, and food consumption as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
