Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Cleveland is a 100-bed skilled nursing facility seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, direct resident care under supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor and document vital signs, and support a respectful, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include ADLs, gait assistance, timely response to call lights, and aiding in training new staff.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required in the facility's state.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate within a nursing team and with licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Flexible, adaptable, with integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with ADLs within resident plans of care.
• Change bed linens and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices.
• Record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Turn and position residents; support resident rights.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in duty areas.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist residents.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff; handle special projects.
