Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing, in a respectful, patient-centered environment.

Duties include serving meals, helping with mobility, monitoring vital signs, documenting care, ensuring resident comfort, and reporting changes to the nursing supervisor, all while upholding HIPAA and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in accordance with state law.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water between meals.
• Support mobility including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests to ensure comfort and safety.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations.
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in line with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Comply with all regulations and maintain CNA certification through ongoing education.
