The role emphasizes documentation, timely response to call lights, and adherence to HIPAA and facility standards while staying current on CNA certification and education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in accordance with state law.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
• Serve meals and assist with feeding; hydrate between meals.
• Assist with mobility: ambulating, turning, positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake, output; report changes.
