Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide essential support to residents in their daily living activities. You will work with a skilled clinical team to ensure health, comfort, and dignity.

This role emphasizes resident privacy, HIPAA compliance, and timely response to call lights. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and documentation, while maintaining a positive, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Must hold state-certified CNA certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals.
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations; uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
