Wexford House in the United States is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA delivers direct resident care, assists with daily living activities, monitors health conditions, and supports the nursing staff to maintain a safe, dignified living environment.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, completion of a state CNA program, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs; observe changes and report to the nursing team.
• Provide medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under supervision.
• Foster companionship and encourage participation in activities for social and mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment; follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with emergency care when needed.
