Job summary

Wexford House is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and support the nursing team in maintaining residents' health and well-being. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and attention to detail to promote residents' dignity, safety, and comfort.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved CNA program, and a minimum of 1 year in

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Help residents maintain personal hygiene and overall comfort.
• Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or mental condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under supervision.
