Job summary

Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center in Roswell, New Mexico is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct, hands-on care to residents, assist with ADLs, mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and individualized needs under licensed staff supervision.

Your role includes monitoring vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining dignity, privacy, and comfort. We value teamwork, professional growth, and delivering high-quality resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification/status meeting New Mexico requirements.
• Must remain eligible and in good standing for employment.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or related healthcare setting preferred; new CNAs encouraged to apply.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to caring for older adults and residents with varying needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Safely assist with transfers, mobility, and repositioning per care plans.
• Record and report vital signs and changes in resident condition to supervising nurse.
• Provide grooming, hygiene, meal assistance, and incontinence care.
• Follow infection prevention practices and safety protocols.
• Document care and maintain resident rooms in a clean, safe condition.
