Job summary

Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center in Roswell, NM is seeking a Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Weekend Nursing Team. You will provide direct care to residents, assist with ADLs, mobility, and meals, and work closely with nurses to support a safe, compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico CNA certification in good standing required.
• Ability to consistently work the weekend schedule.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and other movement needs.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding when necessary.
• Respond to call lights and requests for assistance.
• Support resident routines to encourage independence while following care plans.
• Maintain resident safety and monitor for changes in condition.
• Document care provided and report concerns to Nurses.
