Job summary

Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center in Roswell, NM is seeking a Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care Friday through Sunday. The role supports a resident-centered environment with a strong emphasis on safety, dignity, and teamwork within an interdisciplinary nursing team.

Responsibilities include assistive care, mobility support, meal assistance, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico CNA certification in good standing.
• Ability to consistently work the required weekend schedule.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition.
• Ability to follow resident care plans and nursing direction.
• New CNAs are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation/long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and other movement needs.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding when necessary.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Support residents' independence while following care plans.
• Maintain resident safety and comfort during shifts.
• Document care and changes in resident condition.
