Job summary

Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center in Roswell, NM seeks a Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care on Friday–Sunday. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and comfort, while collaborating with nurses and the care team to promote safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico CNA certification in good standing.
• Ability to consistently work the required weekend schedule.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition.
• Ability to follow resident care plans and nursing direction.
• New CNAs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and movement needs.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding when necessary.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Support residents with daily routines while encouraging independence.
• Follow individualized resident care plans and document care.
• Maintain resident comfort throughout the shift.
