Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a compassionate CNA/Home Health Aide to support patients in home health, hospice, residential, and private duty settings. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help maintain comfort and dignity for clients in their homes.

Requirements include CNA/HHA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Training or prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Certification as CNA or Home Health Aide per state licensure.
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent aide experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and to sit, stand, walk for periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assists nurses by performing various basic care activities related to essential patient needs and comfort.
• Dresses, grooms, bathes, feeds patients and records vital signs.
• Responds to call lights, assists in toileting, oral and nail care, catheter care, and patient transport.
• Provides simple or uncomplicated patient care within approved standards.
• Takes temperature, pulse and respiration; notes changes and reports to nurse.
• Gives medications as directed by Physician or Nurse and records time and amount.

Education

CNA/Home Health Aide certification

Six months of experience

Home care aide training completion
