Job summary

Palolo Chinese Home in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a Nurse Aide to assist residents with daily activities, grooming, bathing, and mobility. You will report changes to the licensed nurse and help maintain a safe, clean environment with adherence to regulations.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with benefits including parking, meals, shift differential, overtime eligibility, 401K matching, holidays, vacation and sick leave, tuition reimbursement, PSLF, referral bonus, FSA, and supplemental

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Aide certification from an accredited program.
• English proficiency required for effective resident communication.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Will be pursuing CNA certification.
• 2-step TB clearance
• Criminal background check, fingerprinting, and drug screen clearance
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring comfort and well-being.
• Provide grooming, bathing and mobility support.
• Communicate with health care team about resident status and concerns.
• Report changes to licensed nurse promptly; support infection control and safety protocols.
