Job summary

River Pointe Assisted Living in Utah is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care in our assisted living facility. You will work under the direction of the Resident Care Coordinator to support daily living activities and maintain residents’ dignity and health.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, dining services, and documentation, while adhering to care plans, policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit (when applicable).
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in SNF or ALF is preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Assist resident with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting.
• Coordinate dining room services at meals, including set-up and delivery.
• Document meal intake and weight changes; monitor nutrition.
• Report changes in resident condition to nurse and supervisor.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and confidentiality; follow infection control policies.
