Job summary

Heirloom Assisted Living in Price, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily living assistance and compassionate care per resident care plans. You will work under the supervision of nursing leadership to support residents’ wellbeing and safety.

The role requires a state CNA in good standing (preferred), CPR/BLS, and Food Handler permit; prior long-term care experience is a plus. This position is non-exempt, hourly, and community-based.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists resident with lifting, turning, and mobility.
• Coordinates dining room services, meal delivery, feeding assistance and documents intake.
• Documents weight changes and tracks health indicators with nurse supervision.
• Maintains infection control and safety practices at all times.
