Job summary

Otterbein is seeking skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/STNA) or those pursuing certification in Ohio. The role focuses on promoting resident independence and delivering person-centered care in our communities, home health, hospice, and office settings.

Shifts available: FT and PT—1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts. Starting pay $18.50/hr with experience; $1 shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Otterbein offers extensive benefits and on-the-job training to obtain certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA/STNA certification required in Ohio; state test and Nurse Aide Registry listing required. On-the-job assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and safety for elders.
• Offer residents choices and support decision-making.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Assist with getting residents up and ready for bed as requested.
• Plan and prepare residents' favorite meals and eat with them.
• Perform laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
