Job summary

Harmony seeks a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver for our Greensboro community. You will provide quality care and assist with daily living activities, encouraging independence and participation in community activities.

You will follow all policies, document care, assist with ADLs, respond to calls and emergencies, and support move-in transitions and daily routines in a warm, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents.
• Encourages residents to function at their highest level of independence and participate in community activities.
• Reports incidents involving residents and completes documentation.
• Performs housekeeping duties and maintains cleanliness of resident areas.
• Responds promptly to resident calls and emergencies; remains calm during emergencies.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Assists residents to and from dining and activities; documents status and changes.
