Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to document accurately in EMR and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, feeding, ambulation, and positioning.
• Measure and document vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient observations to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge tasks under supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Handle errands, stock nursing area, and maintain clean equipment and spaces.
• Aid in patient positioning and transfers with proper technique and assistive devices.
• Support skin care and supply management for patients.
• Follow infection prevention policies and hand hygiene practices.
