Yancey House is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care and support to residents in daily living activities. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and teamwork with licensed staff.

The CNA will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, nutrition, and safety protocols while fostering meaningful resident relationships and participation in activities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; CNA training program completed.
• Experience: 1 year in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and assist with ADLs.
• Support dining, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Monitor and record vital signs; report changes to the nursing team.
• Engage residents with companionship and social activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment.
