Job summary

Haywood Springs is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CNA will provide direct care, assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and support the nursing staff to maintain residents' health and well-being.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, teamwork with interdisciplinary staff, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Active CNA certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs; observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under supervision.
• Foster relationships with residents and encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures.
