Job summary

KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP in Sequim, WA is seeking an Entry Level Certified Nurse Assistant to provide nursing and related services to residents per the care plan, maintaining a homelike environment and promoting resident independence.

You will perform ADLs, assist with mobility, bathing, dressing, feeding, and monitor residents, while observing and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse. This role is non-exempt and paid hourly.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and active.
• Functional literacy as stated in qualifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care per plan of care and maintain resident rights.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, feeding and ADLs.
• Observe, report, and document changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Ensure a safe, homelike environment and proper body mechanics.
• Follow infection control policies and participate in ongoing training.
