Job summary

KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP seeks an experienced Certified Nurse Assistant to deliver direct resident care in a home-like environment at our Saint Helens, OR facility. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, and daily tasks, while respecting resident rights and independence.

A strong team approach and adherence to care plans are essential. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and documenting resident status for clinical staff.

Qualifications

• CNA required with current certification where applicable.
• Experience with OBRA-compliant care is a plus.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents according to the plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Maintain privacy and dignity of residents during care.
• Record and report patient information to nursing staff.
• Assist with meal set-up and nourishment administration.
• Follow infection control policies and facility procedures.
• Respond to resident needs and communicate changes to the Charge Nurse.
