Job summary

KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP in Edmonds, WA seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide nursing and related services per each resident’s plan of care. You will maintain a homelike environment and promote resident rights while supporting independence wherever possible.

The role requires CNA certification, compassionate care, and adherence to infection control and safety policies within a full-time, on-site setting at the facility.

Qualifications

• Education: Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• License: Current CNA certification issued by the state.
• Work Experience: Prior experience providing personal care in healthcare preferred.
• Language: Must read, analyze and communicate in English.
• Math: Must perform basic weight and volume calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents per plan of care.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and feeding.
• Support restorative care to maintain residents' functioning.
• Assist with transfers and safe patient handling.
• Document and communicate resident status to Charge Nurse.
• Maintain residents' privacy and dignity at all times.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Observe for changes in resident condition and report promptly.
