Munson Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff and residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, feeding, and meal service according to care plans and policies.

The role emphasizes careful documentation, weight tracking, skin assessments, toileting program support, and timely reporting of changes to the nurse and supervisor. Vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State of Michigan, or completion of a State-approved training program one month of hire and certification acquired within 4 months of hire as required by the state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to care plans and established policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting into and out of beds, chairs, baths, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Coordinate dining room services at mealtimes, including setup, meal tray delivery, and feeding assistance.
• Document meal intake and weight changes; report to nurse or supervisor.
• Complete flow sheets daily to indicate task completion and progress of each resident.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to the nurse and supervisor.
