Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a team-oriented environment. You will follow the Community's policies and procedures, assist residents with daily living activities, mobility, bathing, and feeding, and report any changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Community policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with daily living activities as directed by a licensed nurse.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with admission and discharge of residents.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and continence care.
• Support mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and gait belts.
• Document care provided and report as required.
