Job summary

Salemtowne is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist in clinic operations and provide compassionate personal care to residents per care plans. You will document care in the electronic health record, support with meals and activities, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

You will observe residents, report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, and help coordinate appointments. A NC CNA certification and CPR certification are required, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification from an accredited NC program.
• NC CNA certification with no substantiated reports on state registry; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care per the care plan: bathing, grooming, feeding, ambulation, and daily living activities.
• Document care delivered in the electronic health record for each resident/patient.
• Maintain a clean, safe living area and follow HIPAA procedures to protect privacy.
• Support residents, families, and providers with courteous, professional service; respond to needs in person or by phone.
• Observe residents for changes, report observations to Nurse Supervisor or Physician, and assist with appointments as needed.
