Job summary

Robison Jewish Health Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct basic care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will support grooming, nutrition, mobility, and daily routines to promote comfort and independence for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, monitoring changes in condition, and maintaining clean, safe living spaces while interacting empathetically with residents, families, and staff. Oregon certifications and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Certification as a Nurse Assistant in Oregon required; in good standing with Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR or BLS certification required.
• Valid Oregon Food Handler Card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care as assigned (grooming, exercise, nutrition, sleep, hygiene, continence, pain management).
• Assist residents in dressing, bathing, grooming, mobility, orientation, and engagement.
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean and orderly.
