Job summary

Robison Jewish Health Center is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide direct care under licensed supervision. You will help residents with grooming, nutrition, mobility and daily activities, while ensuring comfort and dignity in a safe environment.

The role emphasizes respectful communication with residents, families and staff, adherence to policies, and accurate workflow in a well-maintained facility.

Qualifications

Current Oregon Nursing Assistant certification in good standing.
1–3 years nursing assistant experience preferred; acute setting may substitute.
Certified Nurse Assistant in Oregon with approved training program.
CPR or BLS certification required.
Valid Oregon Food Handler Card required.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care as assigned, including grooming, exercise, nutrition, sleep, hygiene, continence and pain management.
Assist residents to dress, bathe, groom, control bowel/bladder, feed themselves, ambulate and transfer; interact with others; orient to time/place/person.
Keep public areas and utility rooms clean; maintain orderly resident rooms, closets and drawers.
