Job summary

Robison Jewish Health Center, part of Cedar Sinai Park, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our on-site care team. You will provide direct resident care under a licensed nurse, focusing on comfort, independence, and dignity, while supporting a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, effective communication, and timely documentation in our EMR system. Oregon-specific certifications and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Successful completion of an Oregon State Board of Nursing-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Valid Oregon Food Handler Card.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1-3 years of current nursing assistant experience (preferred).
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute-care experience (preferred).
• Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, continence care, and other activities of daily living.
• Support safe mobility, transfers, positioning, ambulation, and exercise.
• Assist residents with meals and safe feeding techniques.
• Encourage adequate nutrition and hydration.
• Help residents maintain independence in daily activities.
• Support orientation, social interaction, rest, comfort, and meaningful daily activities.
• Observe residents for changes and communicate concerns to the licensed nurse.
• Respect residents' preferences, privacy, and dignity.
• Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and care areas.
• Accurately complete documentation and use the EMR.
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team.
