This is more than completing a task list. It's getting to know the people you care for, noticing when something isn't quite right, celebrating progress, providing reassurance on difficult days, and helping each resident live as comfortably and independently as possible.
As a CNA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to provide direct care in accordance with Robison Jewish Health Center policies, procedures, and Oregon requirements.

This is an on-campus, hands-on resident care position. CNAs must be able to safely perform the physical functions associated with resident care, including assisting with transfers, mobility, positioning, and other common movements throughout the workday.
The healthcare environment may include frequent interruptions and interactions with residents experiencing confusion, behavioral symptoms, or physical or cognitive challenges. Team members may also be exposed to infectious illnesses and other conditions associated with a healthcare setting.
Successful CNAs must demonstrate appropriate body mechanics, safe transfer and feeding techniques, manual dexterity, and sufficient vision and hearing to safely perform their responsibilities.
