Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and basic medical monitoring. You will work under the Nursing Coordinator to assist with medications and participate in recreation and care planning, ensuring a safe and dignified environment for residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility in scheduling, and attention to residents’ changing needs, including memory care considerations.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required.
• Minimum 2 years of direct elder care experience.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or related disorders preferred.
• Sensitivity to aging and aging-related needs.
• Flexible scheduling and team collaboration.
• Medication administration experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including toileting, bathing, dressing, and feeding cueing.
• Support residents with mobility, devices, and ambulation.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, temperatures, and skin care.
• Administer medications under supervision of Nursing Coordinator.
• Document in care records and communicate with the nursing team.
• Contribute to care planning and attend meetings as assigned.
• Escort residents to appointments and maintain clean, safe living areas.
