Job summary

Advanced-Health-Care-of-Mes seeks a dedicated CNA for a full-time day shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM) in Mesa, AZ to provide direct care to residents and support their daily living activities.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, vital signs, and documentation while maintaining safety, infection control, and empathetic communication. This role emphasizes resident-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or STNA certification in the state of employment.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
• Empathetic, resident-centered care with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks with accuracy and compassion.
• Commitment to safety, infection control, and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under supervision, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques for safety.
• Monitor vital signs and intake/output, report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, orient residents to surroundings.
• Support social activities and companionship, escort to group activities.
• Maintain clean, organized living spaces and comply with infection control standards.
• Assist with dining services including meal setup, feeding, and documenting intake.
• Document care provided and observations accurately per facility policies.
• Participate in training to maintain CNA verification and geriatric care skills.
