Job summary

Advanced Health Care of Scottsdale is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide direct resident care in a skilled nursing environment. The role focuses on daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring comfort and well‑being.

Work schedule: Full-Time, Weekdays, 2PM-10:30PM. You will assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and monitoring, while collaborating with licensed staff. The position emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state you work (AZ).
• CPR certification and fingerprint clearance required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with residents through a compassionate demeanor.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care with empathy.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using safe techniques.
• Monitor vital signs and intake/output; report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and room orientation.
• Support social and recreational activities to promote well‑being.
• Maintain clean, infection-controlled living areas and follow policies.
• Assist with dining services and document intake as directed.
• Document care provided and observations promptly.
• Participate in ongoing CNA training and facility education.
• Support new CNAs with training and policy orientation.
