Job summary

Advanced Health Care in Idaho is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide direct resident care in a facility setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor well-being, and support residents' independence.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, feeding support, documentation, and collaboration with licensed staff. A CNA certification and CPR are required, with weekend/night rotation as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state you work.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar medical setting preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with residents through empathy and caring demeanor.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning and intervention implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques and body mechanics.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and intake/output; report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges and orient new residents.
• Support residents' social and recreational activities; provide companionship.
• Maintain clean, infection-controlled living environment; make beds and tidy rooms.
• Assist with dining services; set up meals and record intake as directed.
• Document care and observations accurately in facility records.
• Participate in training to maintain CNA verification and geriatric care knowledge.
• Assist new CNAs with training and facility orientation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Contribute to a positive, professional work environment with teamwork and communication.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
