Job summary

SAK Management is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Chicago, IL to provide routine daily nursing care aligned with each resident’s plan. You will focus on compassionate, individualized care while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, and meals; recording observations; and promptly reporting changes to supervising nurses. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a GED or High School Diploma.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification as per state requirements.
• Ability to engage warmly with residents and staff.
• Capability to lift at least 35 pounds and assist movement as needed.
• Adherence to health assessments and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Record daily care actions accurately in charts and flow sheets.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing supervisors immediately.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals and post-meal care.
• Maintain resident safety, infection control, and privacy standards.
• Respond promptly to call lights and monitor residents’ comfort.
• Assist with transfers and positioning; ensure correct body alignment.
• Document weights, measurements, and any injuries per policy.
