Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans. The role requires strict confidentiality, accurate reporting, and compassionate resident interaction.

The duties include assisting with daily activities, identifying residents, and supporting the nursing team to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. CPR is preferred; 10th grade education is the minimum requirement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Basic mathematical calculations and ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services according to resident care plans.
• Identify residents before administering treatments and documenting care.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report suspected disclosures.
• Assist with daily living activities and transportation of residents as needed.
• Observe and report any injuries, pressure ulcers, or skin issues to prevent complications.
• Perform tasks in accordance with facility policies and procedures and supervisor directions.
