MENLOPARK in is seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care for residents according to their care plans. You will verify identities, assist with daily activities, and ensure a safe, comfortable unit environment managed by supervisors.

Responsibilities include documentation, reporting changes to the Nurse Supervisor, protecting resident privacy, and maintaining clean, organized care areas. CPR is preferred and state CNA licensure is required by law.

Formación

• Must possess a minimum 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Identify residents before administering treatments, meals, etc. using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Report all changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Greet residents and escort them to their rooms, introducing them to roommates and staff.
• Maintain resident dignity and comfort; respond to calls promptly and check on residents regularly.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and report any suspected disclosures.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood/body fluids and use only trained equipment.
• Assist residents with daily activities and prepare them for tests or examinations.
