Job summary

Winterhaven Kennels is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily care for residents in our facility. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, and document care and observations as directed by nursing staff.

The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. CPR may be preferred, and state CNA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with state laws.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and employees.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk regularly.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts clearly and descriptively.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Ensure resident room is prepared and residents are escorted to rooms.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures.
