Job summary

The Waldron Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care in daily activities and health monitoring. This role requires current CNA certification, CPR, and a commitment to HIPAA and privacy standards.

You will support residents with hygiene, meals, mobility, and documentation while upholding quality and safety. Experience in long-term care is preferred, and the successful candidate will collaborate with nursing

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification per state laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals and hydration.
• Assist with personal hygiene and toileting.
• Assist with ambulation, turning, positioning.
• Check vital signs and track intake/output.
• Ensure resident comfort; respond to call lights; report to supervisor.
• Document actions in forms, logs, records.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Follow professional standards and applicable laws.
• Pursue ongoing education and maintain licensure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
