Job summary

Winterhaven Kennels is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily nursing care to residents according to their care plans. You will identify residents before treatments or meals, record notes accurately, and report any changes in condition to the Nurse Supervisor.

Maintain confidentiality and assist with daily living activities. The role requires CNA certification, CPR preferred, and the ability to read and interpret general information.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per the resident care plan.
• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record all entries accurately and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Assist with daily living activities and positioning to ensure resident comfort and safety.
