Villa Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA provides daily living assistance and basic healthcare under supervision, supporting residents with dignity and respect in a unionized setting.

Responsibilities include personal care, vital signs under a nurse's guidance, and assisting with activities of daily living. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and compassionate resident care across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant license is required.
• Current CPR certificate or be certified within 90 days is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, grooming and toileting.
• Provide personal hygiene support and mobility assistance; transfer in and out of bed.
• Turn and reposition bedridden residents and monitor safety.
• Assist with meals, monitor dietary restrictions, and record intake.
• Measure and record vital signs under supervision of a nurse.
• Respond to calls and assist with transportation to appointments as needed.
• Gathers supplies, cleans rooms and linens, and maintains care areas.
