Job summary

Villa Healthcare is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. CNAs assist residents with activities of daily living under nurse supervision, ensuring safety and comfort. The role supports patient care, movement, and hygiene, while documenting vital signs and changes in health.

Full- and part-time positions are union-represented under the local agreement; casual staff are not. Villa offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth, with paid time off and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant license/certification required.
• Current CPR certificate or be certified within 90 days of employment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with the nursing staff under supervision.
• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients.
• Monitor and support residents per dietary restrictions and intake.
• Record vital signs under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Respond to patient calls and assist with transports as needed.
• Maintain clean rooms and linens and gather supplies.
• Report changes in patient condition and mood to the nursing team.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
