Job summary

The Citadel of Sterling is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team, providing direct patient care under a licensed nurse and assisting residents with daily living activities.

Duties include bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, vital signs, basic medication assistance as directed, room upkeep, and prompt reporting of any changes to the nursing staff. A state CNA license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a state CNA license and CPR certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong teamwork and communication with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Turn and reposition residents; monitor and document vital signs.
• Assist with medications and supplements as directed.
• Support residents with meals and daily activities.
• Maintain clean rooms and bed linens; report changes to nurses.
